Services
The Grant County Coroner is an
elected official who investigates and determines
accurately the manner and cause of any death that
falls under the jurisdiction of the coroner's
office. These deaths include those that are sudden,
unexpected, violent, or suspicious. The process
involves gathering information, examining the scene
of death, interviewing relatives, friends, health
care professionals, law enforcement personnel,
witnesses, and others, and examining the body
externally and internally, including microscopic and
toxicological examination.
Staff
The Grant County Coroner’s Office
consists of two full-time employees, one part-time
employee and four deputies who are on standby in
case of a mass casualty incident.
