If you need a copy of an officers report, accident report, etc., you must submit a request in writing per R.C.W. 42.56.  Please click here to request a form.  We will not release any reports or information without a written request.

 

There may be a fee for this request, it is as follows:

Accident Report (State report only) - Fatality refer to charges for case file:

 

Drivers, Registered Owners, Property Owners—No Charge

All others requesting a copy (i.e. attorney, insurance) $5.00

 

Case Files:

 

With no reproduction of video or photos

.15 cents per page

$5.00 administrative fee

 

With reproduction of video and/or photos

.15 cents per page

$10.00 administrative fee

 

Video reproduction:

 

$6.00 plus $10.00 administrative fee

Photographs:

Actual cost of reproduction plus $10.00 administrative fee

 

Criminal History Background Check:

 

$10.00 Background check

$5.00 additional if document needs to be notarized

 

If you request a criminal history background check with our office, you will only receive information the regards to this office. You will not receive any information from any other law enforcement agency in Grant County or any law enforcement agency in Washington State.
