The Civil Unit carries out the Sheriff’s Office statutory responsibilities to the Superior Court. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Service of civil and criminal subpoenas, summons, and complaints

• Service of other civil and criminal court documents

• Attaching, maintaining custody of and selling personal property

• Attaching and selling real property

• Executing court ordered evictions

The Civil Unit does not have any forms for distribution to the public. Common forms such as "20 days notice to tenant" can be obtained at any office supply store.
